Send an order enquiry
There is no basket and no checkout on this site. Every order starts with a short letter, because our shelves change with each kiln firing and each loom coming off the frame, and we would rather tell you what is really here than show you a list that is out of date.
Tell us which collection you are interested in, roughly what you need and where the parcel would go. The more you say about size, colour or the person it is for, the better our first answer will be.
What happens after you send it
Your letter comes straight to our mailbox in Sibiu. We read it, look along the shelves and reply in person, usually within one or two working days, a little longer in the weeks before Christmas and Easter.
Our reply describes the pieces that fit what you asked for, with measurements and photographs if you would like them, how we would pack them, and what it costs to send the parcel to your country. Nothing is reserved or charged at this stage, and sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything.
If you then decide to go ahead, we confirm the order and the payment details by email, pack the parcel and send you its tracking reference once it has left.
Where we are
The shop is in Sibiu, Romania. We post within Romania, across the European Union and to the United Kingdom. For other countries, say where, and we will check the postal route before promising anything.

What we cannot help with
We do not sell food or drink, antiques, folk costume or pieces painted to order, and we do not arrange visits to workshops or villages.
