About these terms

These terms apply to anyone visiting 5sensesromania.com, the website of 5 Senses Romania, a shop in Sibiu, Romania. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

What the site is for

The site describes the handmade household goods we sell, in five collections, and lets you write to us about buying them. It does not take payments and does not show prices, because stock changes and the cost of sending depends on where a parcel is going.

An enquiry is not an order

Sending the enquiry form, or writing to our mailbox, is a request for information. It does not create a contract and does not reserve any piece. Only when we have set down in writing exactly which pieces, their cost and the postage, and you have agreed and paid, is there a sale. The details of that sale, including your right as a consumer to withdraw from a distance purchase, are set out in our confirming email.

Handmade goods

Each piece is made by hand and will differ a little from any photograph or description: in colour, in the line of a painted motif, in the grain of the wood or the exact length of a fringe. We describe the actual pieces we offer you as honestly as we can, and those small differences are part of handwork, not faults.

Acceptable use

Please use the site and the form only for genuine enquiries. Do not send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, do not try to break or overload the site, and do not use automated tools to submit the form or copy its pages.

Ownership of the site

The text, design and layout of the site belong to 5 Senses Romania. You may share links to it and quote short passages with credit. Each photograph belongs to the person who took it; we show it under the licence named in the credits list at the foot of this page.

Limits of our responsibility

We take care that what the site says is accurate, but it is offered as general information about our goods and their care, without warranty that it is complete or always current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site itself. Nothing here limits any right you hold as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

Romanian law governs these terms. Any dispute about them falls to the competent courts of Romania, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
